The idea for GTA ART was conceived in 2009, a much different time. For context it was the year of Iphone3  , there were no Amazon fulfillment centers here ( now there are 5 or 6?), the first Tesla had just come out the year prior.It was also the year Uber started

 

Now all of the above is the norm. I was looking for the perfect showcase piece for the man cave in home we just bought in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I knew what I wanted which was a large canvas of a cityscape, maybe New York, or Toronto, whatever I could find but the main thing for me was a large size and very detailed.  Maybe an odd choice to some but hey it was my man cave😊This was not easy to find. There was not much choice- no customization and the was far too high and it took forever for the delivery With a background in graphic design ( primarily Photoshop) I figured I could do a better job and there might be other people out there looking for the same thing and experiencing the same headwinds

 

Fast forward to today, you can buy a canvas just about anywhere. From Wal- Mart to your local camera shop to hundreds, perhaps thousands of small, mid, and large print shops offering a variety of products from business cards to canvases, to banners, balloons etc.

It’s a nice type of subtle energy to image. The light will dictate the glitter. Looking at from different angles is never the same.
